guess who pulled c1 kazu :-) see when your man loves you. I also 33* the abyss haha. pretty sure that to 36* I need more damage. or better team comps. or both! though I think my team comps were okayyy...
floor 11
first half: kazuha - fischl - xingqiu - jean
holy fuck, this side did chamber 3 in 30s. seriously c1 + sac sword with EM kazu. basically. hit E 3 times in a row. and then what happens? idk if something isn't dead, just do it again. his cooldowns are a joke. I guess this is like technically main dps kazu, but that's just cuz everything DIES so fast with EM EC on anemos.
second half: venti - kaeya - diona - yanfei
2cryo yanfei is a fucking struggle comp. and the only reason it works is because she has venti!!! grouping + cryo app to enable melt LOOOL. like, when it does damage it works! and thankfully floor 11 is free for venti :D obviously 4vv EM venti, but, more importantly, WIDSITH YANFEI!!! finally pulled a widsith!!! before she was like 60% CR with no CD but now. now she has a legit set with um. more atk than before so! etc etc finally doing some damage without reactions we are ALL happier.
floor 12
first half: venti - xingqiu - diona - yanfei
maybe 2cryo can work better. we'll never know. this is fine. on every chamber except chamber 1 where it's hell. but also this isn't fine because I legit don't have the damage LOL. chamber 2 was easier last time because the blessing was better [none of my teams. ever need to worry about energy. like they just don't, do u know how many fav weapons I run? Too Many!!!] but it's fine this time too. something something melt yanfei is Good actually. again the only reason this team comp works is because venti infuses cryo. everyone say thank u venti.
second half: kazuha - fischl - xiangling - jean
this team taking down the herald's shield [hydro shield, no cryo]... you simply have to laugh. perhaps I should've switched xiangling out for kaeya but like... LR... overloaded. IDK something. I think barbara on this side to replace xingqiu is fine TBH and should work [basically 4tf kazu comp with venti but for heavy enemies and kazu is on 4vv bc I have sac sword + c1]. IDK I'll fuck around and figure it out. goddddd. kazuha/xiangling/jean AND kazuha/fischl/jean are both really great cores ... Both fish and xiangling there at the same time is a little....
anyway. not bad not bad... I levelled a widsith up to 80 and a sac sword to 90 and now I have ... 300 mystic enhancement ores left. so that's Sad. the only fodder weapons I have are mappa mare [useful on em yanfei] and the flute [the only flute that I have] technically I also have uhhhmmmm my two claymores since I dropped #claymore_mainism but... you never know!!!
anyway... I'm currently watching a twitch whale struggle with 11k points on the vagabond event, and I don't like the team he went with, and so I'm just going to comment on the max point whale clears I've seen. I'll point out when the whaleism matters. like I understand it theoretically but I don't think it's a good team for day7. but I watched henna-oyaji's day7 clear [with and without food] and I think this is such a well-built team that I have to comment.
day 7 clear / day 7 clear no food
firstly, I think these events really show off eula's niche suuuuuper well. like the nuke damage for super tanky enemies ... so true queen! and in terms of whaleism, eula c6 was a huge thing [extra stacks + extra phys. bonus + lowered CD]. zhongli c2 mattered and c6 came in clutch once but not really LOL. jean c2 was a Nice bonus I think, but ultimately wasn't a huge thing. r5 pines, pretty alright. r5 freedom sworn was a big one since 40% atk is prettyyyyy important.
I think this team and their respective builds did a really good job in circumventing the most crippling downsides of this challenge - lack of ER + lack of atk. both fish and zhongli have fav weapons to constantly generate particles [and they use this so much in both clears], eula gives up a lot of crit damage for 180% ER, and jean is on a full healer/support. I think for this event c6 jean would go crazy and I initially assumed jean was on the team for c6, but I think it's c3 & c2 that do the work here. and just that she's crazy good support in general.
fish running 4milileth was a crazy great decision - the fullset bonus helps a shitton AND she constantly generates particles.
the beauty of this clear was that yeah, like #whaleism_required, but it wasn't reliant on whale damage the way it was reliant on whale resources? like a lot of other clears focus on pure damage, but this team is really well-thoughtout and prioritizes the ability to consistently hit hard [use eula burst] and utilizes the kit of every character to make it happen. also it's one of the only teams that works to shred the extra resistance [superconduct + eula kit + zhongli shield] and that's why this team was able to clear with no food where there's no fucking way other whale teams would be able to. also one of the only clears that shows actual mechanical skill.

this time, chamber 3 only took me 4 tries LOOOL. but also, this whole fucking floor is a joke if you're an anemo main. and well, me, I'm an anemo main. both teams are very... quickswap/button-mashing friendly haha.

cleared all floors with 2* in one go. so that was good. I don't know if I can 3* any...but like maybe also I Can. but that might actually require playing good. yoooo for someone who knows how elemental reactions work and compose teams around that.. I literally do not put the effort in to make sure they're happening the way they should. so there is MAAAD amounts of room for improvement. the thing about floor 12 is that for 11, there is a lot of ability to cheese so I can split my units so the relative team power levels are like 60-70 : 40-30 yk... the problem with floor 12 is the fucking GEOVISHAPS chamber 1. otherwise everything else is pretty doable. I think... listen chamber 2 & 3 are made for anemo characters and I ...as I have said, Am an anemo main.
