Speaking My Truth...

ok but for real, this is like the only thing I think I have to explain because it seriously is batshit to a random person. if I wasn't me and I saw some random freak go 'RENJUN GIRL. RENJUN GIRL. RENJUN IS A GIRL.' I'd wanna kill them on the spot. maybe not where I am now. but like, a previous me in the past.
first of all. to me, I'm a girl, so being a girl is of the highest regard. also when I say someone is a girl I mean either narratively or socially. which both times is a play on common tropes you find in media, most typically ya. or even irl LOL. it's not that deep. as my friend put it, I don't know whether to namedrop them or not, but like... it's just lvl40 gender fuckery. it's not the same sphere as typical heterofication of gay ships go or whatever, because I actually Respect Women. so if I say Renjun's a girl and he's haechan's girlfriend, it's not as reductive or disrespectful, or even, uh, 'degrading' as a fair amount of people like to put it, because I inherently don't see Being A Girl as a bad thing. also since it's a guy, that's like step no.1 to make a dude more respectable LMFAO. I guess you have to be enough of a misandrist to see it this way, but really. it's not that hard to start.
on um. 'feminizing' renjun. intent matters here I suppose. I don't say renjungirl because I want him to be fucked like a girl, or because I want him to wear a skirt or be treated as a prop porn doll... I also don't see him as a 'motherly' figure or dream of placing him in domestic scenarios where he is the perfect housewife. for the second time, I'm very beyond having perverted fantasies about him. mostly, it's just hilarious that he's the emotionally open, candle-liking, deep talk wanter of the haechren half, and haechan is legit just a sloppy gamer. like, not only is that ever straight tiktok couple ever, but it's hilarious that These Two of all people are embodying it.
also, everyone and their mom is aware of kpop boy who looks like a lesbian. good news! we've moved forward to kpop boys who look like women!!! insert some wokeass statement about uhhh blurring the lines of how we don't have to be constrained by looking like our preconceived notions of what x gender should look like.
this sounds so dumb and stupid having to type it out, but like everything in kpop and injokes and psychoanalysis and whatever, it's mostly for the sake of humour! this just sounds the funniest if I say it like this. honestly, it's fine to not understand this type of humour or dislike it, but if it's not exceedingly clear from how I phrase things - everything is a joke. the first purpose is to be funny, everything else is secondary. tho like lol no one who 'cancelled' me is going to read this so I guess it doesn't even matter that I'm saying it.

THAT ASIDE. renjun does have the incredible ability to connect and relate to a lot of the overlooked aspects of the world around him. to the point where I'm like: damn, that's mindful even for a regular person. [as opposed to you know, a kpop idol]
